STANDARDIZED TESTING
A comprehensive evaluation is a one-to-one evaluation, which is completed with standardized testing instruments. An individualized Intellectual, Cognitive/Processing and Academic Test Battery is available to specifically evaluate a child or adult’s clinical needs. On the average a test battery will take four to six hours, depending on the subject’s age. Sometimes it will be necessary to conduct the testing in more than one session, particularly in the case of a young child.
Tests in the Comprehensive Evaluation May Include:
Ø Intelligence Quotient (IQ) Ø Learning Processes (Auditory and Visual Processing) Ø Cognitive Abilities Ø Expressive Language Ø Listening Comprehension Ø Basic Reading Skills Ø Reading Comprehension Ø Math Calculation Skills Ø Math Reasoning Skills Ø Written Expression Ø Visual Motor Integration
